War veteran demands public apology after Bandt coup

Australian war veteran and national chairman of the Royal Australian Regiment, Michael von Berg, is demanding a public apology from green leader Adam Bandt after he refused to stand in front of the Australian flag.

“It was so blatant – just a blatant political stunt and at the expense of our Indigenous brothers and sisters,” he told Sky News Australia.

“The members of the veteran community are so angry and resentful.

“It’s just not guaranteed.”
