Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu proudly raised the UK flag as he read the UK Eurovision poll. The TV host followed in the footsteps of celebrities like Fearne Cotton, Scott Mills and Amanda Holden to show all the important points in this year’s competition.
As UK entry Sam Ryder nearly accomplished the unthinkable and finished second in the contest, AJ made history as, instead of calling from London, she called from right here in the North West.
“AJ calling from Salford… for the first time from Greater Manchester,” she declared proudly as presenter Graham Norton laughed. And she awarded the much sought after points to Sweden.
And the praise came out for his impeccable delivery. @Thurston_FW tweeted: “AJ being STUN”. @evincandy cheered: “YAS AJ Odudu looking like the queen she is!!!” @bexlam tweeted: “AJ “calling from Salford… for the first time from Greater Manchester GET IN” #ICONIC”. And @Joelle_o said: “AJ Adudu is a legend”.
