Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will face off in the biggest fight in women’s boxing history this Saturday, as Taylor puts her lightweight titles on the line at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The undisputed champion is 20-0 undefeated (6 KOs) and previously held the WBO welterweight belt, while Serrano carries a pro record of 42-1-1 (30 KOs) in the main event.
Puerto Rican Serrano is a unified featherweight champion and has won titles in seven divisions, while Ireland’s Taylor also counts an Olympic gold medal among her many awards.
YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been serving as Serrano’s promoter for this fight, working with Taylor’s 35-year-old promoter Eddie Hearn.
