NYC Parks worker is attacked inside Riverside Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) — Police are investigating an attack on a parks department employee inside Riverside Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The video shows the attack that took place on Monday, June 6 at 8:10 pm near Riverside Drive and West 79th Street.

Police say the attacker punched the 29-year-old parks department worker in the face before leaving on a scooter.

The victim suffered a cut on his face and was treated at the scene by SAMU.
