The sick fight lasted about a minute before security and police intervened.

The video quickly circulated on social media, with rugby league fans expressing their disgust at the crowd’s behavior and lack of security intervention.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed news.com.au that three people involved in the fight were evicted by the police and received notices of violations for disorderly conduct at licensed facilities – but there are no active assault complaints.

Three other men were given instructions to move, while one person received first aid treatment at the scene, Queensland Police confirmed.

speaking to Mail over the incident, NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo criticized Queensland rugby league fans and threatened to impose bans.

“There is absolutely no place for violence in our games,” he said.

“In addition to the action that the authorities may take, we will also ban any fans who engage in violence in the stands. It will not be tolerated.

“Magic Round is a celebration of our game, our fans and families. Nearly 150,000 fans will be in attendance this weekend and we will speak with the stadium, which oversees security, to ensure the correct measures are taken.”

The incident comes after a wild brawl broke out at the same venue on Anzac Day after a fan showed up to scream during a moment of silence to remember the dead.

In the footage, a man wearing a Bulldogs shirt is seen repeatedly punching another man in the face and trying to get his Broncos shirt off until he falls backwards into the row of seats behind him.

The video, which went viral on Facebook last month, shows other participants yelling at the man and sending him away.

On Friday, the Newcastle Knights secured a 16-6 victory over the Bulldogs to break a frustrating six-game losing streak, while the Brisbane Broncos eliminated Manly 38-0 in a one-sided affair.
