Many Australians are not interested in becoming a republic: David Flint

David Flint of Australians for Constitutional Monarchy says that many Australians are not interested in the nation becoming a republic.

“Even at the time of the referendum… we had people who were very emotional and strongly dedicated to the monarchy,” he told Sky News presenter Rowan Dean.

Flint said a survey he conducted showed that only 34% of people were interested in a dorm, but young people were less engaged with the idea.

“Well, between 18-26, it drops to 24 percent.”
