Grand Bend stabbing victim dies in hospital



Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged three people in connection with a stabbing incident in Grand Bend.

OPP, Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) Kettle Point responded to a robbery at a Huron Street parking lot at approximately 10 pm on Friday.

EMS transported the victim, Zacharey Hartman, 27, from Exeter to hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Perth County OPP later arrested three individuals following information about a suspected vehicle from Lambton County officials.

An 18-year-old and 22-year-old, both from Stratford, have been charged with second-degree murder, while a 21-year-old from West Perth faces accomplice charges after the fact.

The three are being held awaiting a bail hearing.
