Captain Ben Stokes has named an unchanged team for this second match with spinner Jack Leach recovering from the concussion he suffered the first morning in Nottingham.
For the Blackcaps, Michael Bracewell replaced captain Kane Williamson, who tested positive for Covid on Thursday. Tom Latham took over the visitors’ captaincy, whose other two changes saw Henry Nicholls replace Colin de Grandhomme and Matt Henry replace Ajaz Patel.
