A TikTok cottagecore picnic is happening in Vancouver

If you see a group of spectacularly dressed women in Queen Elizabeth Park, now you know why.

Calling all cottagecore girls!

A TikTok group called @creatives.vancity is having another aesthetic-themed picnic for people to get together, make friends and create social media content – this time themed around spring and the popular cottagecore lifestyle trend.

Scheduled for Friday, May 13 at 5pm in the rose garden at Queen Elizabeth Park (if it rains), girls in spectacular spring and summer dresses will gather for a romantic period picnic.

The event will be rescheduled in case of rain, but as long as it’s sunny, the video ad says to bring a blanket, your own food and snacks, and wear a spring/cottagecore dress. A previous video recommended using shades of pink, yellow, orange and red to match the sunset.

Previously, the team of five women that make up @creatives.vancity hosted cherry blossom and princess picnics that yielded plenty of stylish photos and videos for social media.

The picnic is free and everyone is invited.
